Fitness AssessmentWhat do you use to determine the proper intensity to ride and train with? We teach our clients to use Heart Rate as the metric to guage the intensity of their riding and training. In order to KNOW which levels are appropriate for you, it is best to have a stress test or fitness assessment of some type. This test provides you with your TRUE maximum heart rate, which can then be used to determine your Heart Zones. We have developed a simple testing protocol to determine your maximum heart rate. The total process takes about one hour from start to finish, including set up time and a brief comsultation following the test to review the results and provide you with some ideas for how to utilize the information for best results.
