NEW for 2009/2010 - YOGA for Cyclists

For the last couple of years, we have been testing a yoga class designed specifically to meet the needs of active cyclists. It has been so popular that we are making it a part of our regular schedule on Monday and Wednesday evenings following our 630 Bikin' Blast class. The class is 30 minutes long and is included in our unlimited class program for no additional fee. You can also pay the walk in rate or use a punch card. This class is taught by Aleda Keel, a certified yoga instructor who has been teaching yoga for 6 years.

About Our Winter Cycling Program

Come feel the energy of cycling with a group that grinds out all the long climbs, flies across the flats, sprints up the hillsides and ALWAYS finishes together. Add some kickin' music and you have what we call a Bikin' Blast.

Have more fun when you ride outdoors by developing your strength and skills indoors during the winter months. We offer 5 solid months of cycling classes beginning Monday, November 2, 2009 and ending on Saturday, March 27, 2010.

At the Bikin' Blast Training Center, everyone rides their own bike on an indoor trainer. This allows participants to ride a bike that fits while providing a full range of resistance options. Wear your cycling apparel and gloves for comfort, but you can leave your helmet at home. Towels are encouraged and water is a must.

Whether you are just getting started or you're a seasoned cyclist looking for winter conditioning, we've got classes to fit your need and schedule. Our staff (Bikin' Mike Keel and Frank Cortese) offers 8 classes weekly, providing a variety of choices for conditioning and scheduling. We offer the popular Bikin' Blast format (developed in 2000) and Power Blast format (developed in 2005). All workouts are designed by the coach leading the class.

This class is taught by Aleda Keel, a certified yoga instructor who has been teaching yoga for 6 years.

You can sign up for 5 months of classes for $175 (with your trainer) or $275 (using one of our trainers). All classes are one hour long.

Single classes cost $7 per class. Trainer rental is an additional $3 per class.

You may purchase a monthly card for unlimited classes @ $40- $60 with trainer rental included.

10 class punch cards are $50 with your trainer - $75 using one of our trainers.

You will need to bring your bike (road, mountain or hybrid), gloves, water and a towel. Cycling shorts are suggested for maximum comfort. If you have a magnetic trainer, bring it. If not, we rent trainers for $3 per class.

In order to have the best experience possible while training with us, first time clients are encouraged to arrive at least 20 minutes early.
