The desire to be a coach carries an awesome responsibility.  Reliability and trust are the raw materials necessary to nurture an environment that will allow an athlete to thrive.  Any prescribed workout regimens must adhere to safe, sound and proven training principles.  My name is Francis (Frank) Cortese and I am a USAT Level 1 triathlon coach.  I also consider myself a “student of the swim”, “student of the bike” and “student of the run.”  I was introduced to triathlon through The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training program.  Needless to say I was hooked.  Triathlon became more than a just a hobby, it became a lifestyle.  And now as a coach it has evolved into my “Life's Work.”  I am eager to share my experience and knowledge.  The journey can be as fulfilling as the goal.  I would be honored to be your guide along the way.
