About Personal Training

I love to ride my bicycle. Outdoors or in, I love the feelings and benefits that result from “time in the saddle”. Since 1974 I’ve logged 125,000+ miles pursuing fitness on a bicycle. Along the way, I decided that I wanted to be a “Gym Teacher” for grown-ups and began working in health clubs while I was in college. After many years of playing, working and riding my bike, I was given the nickname “Bikin’ Mike”.

In 1987, I began training recreational cyclists. Although I have worked with some competitive cyclists, I spend most of my time with non-competitive cyclists. The majority of my clients are professional people who want to achieve their fitness/cycling goals without sacrificing comfort or safety.
