Hill Country Cycling Camp

May 14 - 17, 2009

We call it a camp because all we do is eat, sleep and ride!

Quiet country roads. Great views. Cool weather.

Comfortable accommodations. Great people. Good food.

Looking for a cycling experience that will bring you miles of memories?

We have put together the ultimate cycling 3 day weekend. Beginning with a great place between Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock State Park, called the Tin Star Ranch. Our guests stay in the cabins and the Bunkhouse at the ranch, while our crew stays at the Ranch House. Everybody gathers each day for breakfast at the Ranch House, then we go out and ride for 2 to 3 hours. After enjoying lunch at the Ranch House, we go back out for another 2 to 3 hour ride, followed by a relaxed time on the patio. At this time the serious decisions are made about where to have dinner in town - and off we go to showers and dinner. We repeat the same hectic schedule on Saturday, then on Sunday we have the meals and a morning ride before heading back home.

Riding in the Hill Country provides nice, quiet country roads that sprinkle some challenging little hills amidst the gentle sections of flat roads with long views. All 5 routes are out and back from the Tin Star Ranch, so you can ride as much or as little as you like. We also provide coaching before each ride and on the road, as well as complete SAG and tech support on the route.

Reservations are already coming in and our cabin options are already sold out. The Bunkhouse rooms are small and spartan, but everyone spends lots of time hanging out at the Ranch House together or sharing the common areas at the Bunkhouse (see the pictures below).

We have several ways you can join us for some wheel fun in the Hill Country.

You can pay a base rate for the meals and rides - and stay somewhere in town, at another B&B, with a friend in town, or camp at Enchanted Rock State Park.

Looking for a place in town? We suggest the Sunset Inn for simple rooms and reasonable rates. Make sure you tell them Bikin' Mike sent you!

You can stay in the Bunkhouse at the Tin Star Ranch and enjoy the convenience of being on site. Single and double occupancy rates are available.

You can stay in one of the 4 cabins at the Tin Star Ranch.

(The cabin options are SOLD OUT)

No matter which option appeals to you, please remember that our space is limited and that we will sell out. Check it out and make your reservation early and join us for a cycling experience you'll remember for years to come.
